Description
Founded in 1958 by a small group of volunteers, Prevent Blindness Wisconsin is dedicated to its mission –to prevent blindness and preserve sight. Since half of all blindness can be prevented, Prevent Blindness Wisconsin has set its course to provide the most needed and highest quality sight saving programs available to the people of Wisconsin. We concentrate on three primary service areas in which we can be most effective in preventing blindness: Vision screening for children, education and screening for at risk adults, and basic awareness and safety programs to promote healthy vision and eye safety.
