Description
PJS is a not-for-profit organization supported by individual memberships and local business sponsors. Reaching out to cross cultural barriers of race, social, political, and economic circumstance, special emphasis is placed on bringing jazz, a uniquely American art form, to the community at large and under served audiences. Annual Programs include the Jazz Splash Concert Series, Native Jazz Heritage Concerts, Women-Of-Note performances, and the Juneteenth Festival and Arts Fair. PJS remains dedicated to the development of collaborative and sustainable projects in the region that encourage a broader respect and deeper appreciation of American art.
