Description
The Poverello Center operates the Food Program, Wellness Program and Bread & Blessings Sandwich Program. The Center is open to all . . . and more than 1,000 registered uses regularly visit us each month. Our clients include seniors, families with children, individuals, the disabled, the working poor, veterans and the homless.
The Food Program is a client choice food distribution center with over 1,000 families or individuals registered.
The Wellness Program provides many free screenings including cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose and influenza vaccine.
Bread & Blessings is a volunteer run sandwich program that operates three mornings each week and distributes sandwiches, snacks and coffee or hot chocolate to over 250 people living in shelters or on the streets.
