Description
Founded in 1992, Positive Wellness Alliance (PWA) is a community-based organization that provides practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. We are also active in educating the local community about HIV disease and how infection can be prevented.
PWA formed when concerned individuals from our community joined together to discuss the the HIV/AIDS Epidemic as it relates to Davidson County. Our Board of Directors is comprised of educators, ministers, social workers, attorneys, accountants, medical professionals, business leaders and individuals and family members affected by HIV.
