Description
The mission of the Portsmouth Men’s Chorus (PMC) is to foster community spirit through singing. Singing has been a tradition for centuries, and brings together people from all walks of life. In a chorus, there are no professions, no classes, no hierarchies, no status. We are all equal. Our voices — and the music we make — define our standing. Together in song we come from the community as we give back to the community our love of song and fellowship. We strive to be a charitable organization working to provide scholarships and performance opportunities to students interested in pursuing musical studies. We intend to enrich our community while fostering support for the arts.
