Description

Established in 1947, the Portsmouth Humane Society is one of the oldest Animal Shelters in Virginia and today provides shelter services for up to 300 animals.

The Portsmouth Humane Society is also invloved with Humane Education for school children as well as providing pet therapy to senior citizens in Portsmouth, VA.

With our newest sister-website, www.HRLostPets.org, we help pet owners who have lost, or those who might have found a pet reunite a lost pet with it's owners!
