Poodle Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer organization that works with veterinarians, shelters, families and other rescue organizations to achieve our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, neglected, stray and owner-surrendered poodles. We receive word about dogs needing our services through our hotline, from area dog officers and shelters and from our network of volunteers.
Poodle Rescue of New England accepts poodles of all ages. Many of our poodles are in need of specialized medical care, medications and/or surgery to bring them back to health before they can be placed in qualified adoptive homes.
Before placement, all dogs are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped, vaccinated and groomed. Each dog is evaluated by a PRNE volunteer to help ensure a long and loving relationship between poodle and new owner.
