Poodle Rescue of Houston (PRH) is a private, tax-exempt non-profit organization chartered by the state of Texas. We are a 501c(3) corporation as recognized by the IRS. PRH rescues distressed dogs, mostly poodles, from a variety of sources. These include public animal shelters and humane organizations across a six or seven state region as well as individuals or breeders who, for various reasons, "surrender" their dogs to our care.
