Description
Pony Power Therapies, Inc. was founded to provide equine assisted therapy to children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, victims of trauma and abuse and multiple handicaps.
Through a safe, nurturing environment, riders on horseback can gain more flexibility, balance and muscle strength. On the ground and in a group individuals can explore and develop unique relationships with the horse which can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem and foster feelings of independence and pride.
