Description
The Ponca City Humane Society is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is exclusively charitable, educational and scientific for the purposes of:
•Providing care for stray, injured, abused, and abandoned animals for as long as practical, and working towards the prevention of cruelty to animals.
•Promoting and educating the public on responsible pet ownership; spaying and neutering; animal care and health; local, state and federal laws concerning animals.
•Helping reunite lost pets with owners.
•Securing, using and distributing contributions from individuals, groups, organizations and corporations for the benefit of such animals, and
•Maintaining an animal shelter in connection with the Society’s operations and activities.
