Description
A non-profit corporation dedicated to increasing awareness of, and providing research for a treatment and eventual cure of Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease. This disease is in the leukodystrophy category, and generally affects males born to mothers who are carriers of the gene. There have been instances of daughters who have also shown symptoms, such as low muscle tone, nystagmus (random involuntary eye movements), and poor overall motor function.
