Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington is committed to these six key ideas:

*Providing quality affordable care to women and men in the greater metropolitan Washington area at our five health care centers in DC, Virginia, and Maryland.

*Protecting reproductive health rights. All women and men should have easy access to the family planning tools they need.

*Preventing unintended pregnancies and the spread of HIV/AIDS, and other STIs.

*Prescribing emergency contraception and birth control.

*Promoting education and prevention.

*Preparing teens to make responsible choices through peer-leadership programs.
