The Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation is an autonomous charitable foundation formed to foster the academic and research programs of the University of Pittsburgh Affiliated Residency in Emergency Medicine and the Center for Emergency Medicine of Western Pennsylvania. The Foundation is committed to providing financial support for research and educational endeavors in the field of emergency medicine. Through these efforts, the Foundation hopes to increase awareness and interest in the field of emergency medicine education and research thereby contributing to the improvement of care of patients in the Emergency Department.
