Description
The Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity established in 1992 to provide assistance to individuals impacted by Hurricane Andrew and subsequently expanded to assist victims of other natural disasters and personal tragedies. Since its formation, it has distributed over $1.8 million in financial resources as well as referrals to additional support services.
It is funded predominantly by Pitney Bowes employee contributions and matching funds. It is administered for Pitney Bowes by the Salvation Army at the company’s expense ensuring that 100% of funds donated go to providing assistance to those in need.
