Description

County-wide coalition of 40+ non-profit, governmental, and faith-based organizations that provide services to homeless individuals and families in Pinellas County, FL (Clearwater, St. Petersburg). We work to implement the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness, sponsor the annual Cold Night Shelter program and the drive for school supplies for homeless children. Responsible for the homeless emergency evacuation program for hurricanes and other emergencies. We also staff the Homeless Leadership Network of elected officials and community leaders from the county and five major cities, working to address specific strategies to reduce homelessness. Promote and assist in the development of new affordable housing to replace all the housing lost to new development.
