For more than 40 years, the Pima Council on Aging, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization, has been the leading nonprofit agency in Pima County, AZ charged with aging services for our older citizens and their caregivers. Our mission is to promote dignity and respect for aging, and to promote independence in the lives of Pima County’s older adults and their families, now and for generations to come.

Pima Council on Aging is the gateway nonprofit agency that provides research about and coordinates a wide range of community-based network of aging services including nutrition, family caregiver support, home repair, homecare, elder rights, legal and Medicare counseling among our core programs.

Pima County’s diverse aging population, regardless of income, relies on Pima Council on Aging to identify resources and receive basic human services, access to allied social services and supportive assistance to maintain their independence.
