Description
Located on the near north side of Minneapolis since 1924. Serves low income working parents and their children, providing safe, affordable, quality pre-academic program for infants to pre-Kindergarten age children as well as year-around before, during and after school programs for school age children. Positive, trained, stable adult role models & mentors strengthen and reinforce healthy development.
Programs build upon family and community strengths to accelerate student learning, build Developmental Assets, promote leadership skills and engage diverse youth to reach their full potential.
Additionally, family leaders are supported to obtain skills and access community resources that they need to build their own networks of support, identify personal and family goals, develop a personal plan and achieve realistic goals they set for themselves.
