Description
The mission of Phipps Community Development Corporation (Phipps CDC) is to provide direct program services to the children, adults and families who reside in Phipps Houses and the surrounding neighborhoods. Phipps CDC was established 1972 as the human services affiliate of Phipps Houses, the oldest and largest developer of affordable housing in New York City. It serves four communitites -- West Farms, Melrose and Morrisania in the Bronx and Bellevue South in Manhattan -- where we work collaboratively to address the most critical needs of these communities. Our task is to provide well-run programs that will allow people to acquire practical skills to help them succeed in school and work, and create healthy families and vibrant communities.
