Description
We are a non profit organization that rescues dogs from euthanasia. We are located in Monroe, Georgia where there is no humane society and the euthanasia rate is 80%. All of our costs are paid for through donations and grants and volunteers. We rescue the dogs from animal control and then train them to be companions and try and locate good homes for them. We are a new program and start up costs are very expensive. We could really use some assistance both financially and physically.
There is a great need not only for financial and inkind donations but also for volunteers. Assistance is needed not only with the care of the dogs but also to work in the adjoining Thrift Shop which the proceeds from help off set the cost of the care of the dogs.
