The mission for this organization shall be to promote the welfare of the breed. This shall be accomplished by promoting and funding research into the health, care, and breeding of purebred PBGVs as well as by promoting, through educational means, the proper care of this breed and providing funding for the rescue of the PBGV, if they should be neglected or abandoned.
