Description
For over 34 years, Persad has been improving the emotional well being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) individuals, people with HIV/AIDS, and their loved ones through its unique counseling and educational programs. Persad’s mission helps create a healthier, more socially and economically vibrant community.
We fulfill this mission through the provision of professional counseling services, prevention services, training and education, advocacy and research. Persad has 5 professional counseling services. They are: mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, transgender care, and HIV/AIDS services.
