Description
The Perry Center is a non-denominational Christian residential program established in 1986 for pregnant women 12-23 years of age. Women may stay up to 6 months after their baby is born.
We have a 12 week revolving class program including Decisionmaking, Nutrition, Adoption vs. Parenting, How to Find a Job, Self Esteem, How to Really Love Your Child, Parenting, and much more.
Each resident is assigned a Big Sister/mentor who has regular contact with her, building a positive relationship during her stay.
Residents have responsibilites such as chores, attend church, school or work on GED, participate in group activites such as picnics, baseball games, shopping, etc., as & have regular counseling.
The Perry Center's mission is to mentor and teach young women to be all that God has created them to be and teach them that despite some struggles in their past that they can make good decisions with guidance and support.
