Description

For more than 15 years, Per Scholas has been a leader in helping individuals break the cycle of poverty by providing technology and education to some of America's poorest, most underserved communities. In addition to offering free home computers to low-income middle school students, Per Scholas also provides computer technician training to struggling adults, digital access to low-income senior citizens, and offers a corporate computer recycling and reuse service. To date, Per Scholas has refurbished and distributed more than 80,000 computers, provided computers, provided home computers and digital literacy skills to more than 7,500 middle school children, trained more than 3,000 tons of computer equipment.
