Description
Founded in 1939 by a group of 21 ministers, social workers and other professionals, People Coordinated Services of Southern California, Inc. was originally named the Church Welfare Bureau of the Church Federation of Los Angeles. This non-profit community-based organization was designed to provide a myriad of services to multi-generational families. Services include: Seniors Citizen full-scope of services including meals to home-bound seniors; Youth and family services that include individual, family, and group counseling, case management, gang prevention, substance abuse diversion, school readiness, parent training and education; chemical dependency intervention and treatment (in-patient and out-patient), and sober living.
