Description
The Pa Parks and Forests Foundation began in 1999 to give users and suports of Pennsylvania's parks and forests a positive way to contribute to the conservation of the Commonwealth's publicly owned lands and waters. Our mission is to enhance Pennsylvania's parks and forests, protect Pennsylvania's natural resources and support conservation and environmental programs. We do this by: estabishing public/private partnerships at the local, regional and state level; acquiring new lands; engaging people in outdoor recreation, education and volunteerism; and by providing a tax-deductible vehicle to donate or bequeth money to Pennsyvania's state parks and forests.
