Description
The Pennsylvania Innocenced Project works to secure the exoneration and release from prison of the convicted innocence. Through the efforts of volunteer lawyers, law students, journalists and others, teams investigate cases involving inmates convicted of crimes they did not commit and attempting to gather the evidence to prove that in court. In addition, the Project works to improve the criminal justice system to prevent wrongful convictions from occurring.
