Description

The PCIL is dedicated to the independence and empowerment of persons with disabilities. The PCIL is a membership organization comprised of all 18 Centers for Independent Living in Pennsylvania. Over 51% of each Center's board and staff must include persons with disabilities. The Council advocates for programs and services that will enable persons with disabilities to live in the communities of their choice. The PCIL uses its strong unified voice to advocate for the rights of all citizens with disabilities through collaborative efforts that create positive policy and systems change.
