Description

The original Peanut Butter & Jelly Therapeutic Preschool opened its doors 34 years ago in a storage room in a community mental health center in Albuquerque’s South Valley. From its earliest beginnings in 1972, the agency has been adapting and responding to the needs of its clients and the community. Today, PB&J Family Services, Inc. (PB&J) fills a critical niche within Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties, providing a continuum of wraparound services to at-risk children and families. Since inception, PB&J has been committed to its mission of helping at-risk children to grow and develop to their full potential in nurturing families with a supportive community. PB&J is a respected, established social services agency, offering ten major programs in central New Mexico, and operating with a budget of more than $4.3 million.
