Description
Paxton Ministries is a Christian non-profit group of Personal Care homes situated in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. We house 85 adults in our main residence and 5 in a small independent living apartment building. Primarily, we house people with Mental Health issues including various forms of mental illness and mental retardation. Most come from poverty. We accept residents regardless of their ability to pay. In our 25 year history we have never turned anyone away for lack of money. More than 60 percent of our residents do not have the resources to pay the full cost of their housing, food and other services. We ONLY raise money to pay the difference between what they can pay and the actual costs. We are a 501c3 charity and our website is located at www.paxtonmin.org.
