The mission of Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is to support women and their children in their efforts to live violence free.
PADV works to end domestic violence by: offering safety and shelter to battered women and their children; restoring power, self-sufficiency and control to domestic violence survivors; and educating the public about the dynamics of domestic violence.
For many battered women, escaping an abusive relationship requires self-confidence, a strong support network, and the motivation to achieve financial independence. PADV addresses these very needs. Through targeted programs in our shelters and the community, partnered with high quality staff, we support domestic violence survivors as they move toward self-sufficiency.
