The Mission: citizen stewardship of Milwaukee County Parks.
Goals:
Preserve open green space and the original vision and integrity of the park system serve present and future generations monitoring public park policies documenting park history and disseminating heritage of the parks. Support advocates of the parks, adequate funding and greater public awareness and appreciation Sponsoring projects programs and educational activities raising managing funds. To enhance park lands, through improvements including new facilities, restoration Undertaking specific capital improvements, as well as facilities and vegetation maintenance projects Encouraging appropriate use of parks and Helping to create and coordinate park support groups. To build an effective citizen support group: Recruiting members keeping members informed Encouraging volunteerism
