About Us: The Perry Abernathy Recreation Center (the PARC) is a non-profit recreation center serving Sugar Land First United Methodist Church and the community of Sugar Land, TX. The Recreation Ministry aids in the development of the "total person." The opportunity to acknowledge Christ and apply His teachings in a recreational environment is the foundation and spiritual motivation of the PARC.
Our Mission: "We are here to reach out through Christ-centered programs providing recreational and social opportunities for individuals regardless of religious affiliation or age. Programs are designed to expose participants to the value of a close relationship with Jesus Christ."
Our Vision: "To unite and minister to our community by providing recreational and social opportunities that encourage a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Our aim is to provide opportunities to enhance participants' physical health and spiritual growth. "
