Description
Nepal Orphans Home (NOH) began in 2005 with a mission to attend to the total welfare of children in Nepal who are orphaned, abandoned, or not supported by their parents. NOH operates four children's homes, known as Papa's Houses, in the Kathmandu Valley. Over half of the 125 children cared for are former kamlaris, girls rescued from indentured servitude. Papa's Houses provides for the children's basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing, as well as schooling and health care, and administers to their emotional needs with love and compasion. Papa's House allows children to grow up in a nurturing environment where they can develop and realize their potentials. Please see www.nepalorphanshome.org.
