The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) is an independent, private non-profit organization that serves as the World Affairs Council of Hawai’i. PAAC’s mission is to promote a greater awareness and understanding of foreign affairs issues with special attention to Hawaii’s role in the Asia-Pacific region. Since 1954, PAAC has brought global education to more than 73,500 high school students and over 90,500 community college students and community members statewide. We do this through the following programs: Speaker Forums, High School Global Education Program, University of Hawai’i Community College (UHCC) International Affairs Outreach Program, and the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
