Description

Ozone House is a community-based, nonprofit agency that helps young people lead safe, healthy and productive lives through intensive prevention and intervention services.
Since 1969, Ozone House has worked to effectively meet the changing needs of runaway, homeless, at-risk youth and their families. Ozone House prides itself on being a nontraditional social service agency, and actively pursues the development of unique high quality housing and support programs and services that:
¨ focus on opportunities, skills and positive youth development;
¨ view youth and families in terms of their strengths and potential;
¨ work with youth and families as partners in service rather than passive recipients;
¨ honor and acknowledge the expertise of youth and families in resolving their own difficulties;
¨ are respectful, flexible, and responsive to the needs of youth and their families;
¨ acknowledge and employ the influence of the familial and community systems in which the youth exists.
