Ovarian Cancer Institute - OCI

Founded in 1999 by Atlanta Dr. Benedict Benigno, the Ovarian Cancer Institute is a unique collaboration between doctor and research scientists. Ovarian tumor samples are taken in operating rooms and transported to OCI's laboratory located at the Georgia Institute of Technology where scientists use state of the art research to genetically analyze tumor particles. The goal of OCI is an early detection test for ovarian cancer and better treatment methods from those fighting the battle against this horrible disease.
