Description
Our Mims Retirement Haven, Inc. accepts donations of retired race horses and feeds and cares for those horses until they die naturally. Without the care provided by the Organization, these horses would either be destroyed or perhaps live in unhealty conditions.
The Organization is named after Our Mims, a racing champion broodmare born in 1974 at Calumet Farms and cared for by Jeanne Mirabito until the horse's death in 2003.
The Organization specializes in the care of retired Thoroughbred broodmares.
