Description
The primary purpose of Ottumwa Community Outreach Ministry, Inc. (OCOM) is to offer hospitality, supportive services, shelter, clothing, transitional programs, counseling and quality affordable housing to persons experiencing a housing crisis in Ottumwa, and the surrounding area. Our mission is to serve and be advocates for the poor, sick, hungry, homeless, uneducated, the victim of crime and the criminal seeking forgiveness, widows and orphans, (including divorced women, and children left in the wake of divorce) and senior citizens, that we may give them both spiritual food as well as food for nourishment, comfort and shelter to the glory of God.
