Description
The Orion School is a non-profit accredited alternative school located in Midtown Atlanta. Our typical student is an engaging, curious and active child in grades K-7 who struggle with the social and emotional challenges associated
with ADHD. Our students are at high risk for failure in an academic setting. They have all experienced school failure before attending The Orion School. We value our students as individuals and teach strategies to live successfully with ADHD by taking advantage of innate strengths whether creative, innovative, physical, or academic. High interest, hands on and physical activities are integrated into the fabric of a novel yet highly structured school day. Our student to teacher ratio is very low at 4:1 or less.
