Description

The Orange/Chatham Friends of Guardian ad Litem (GAL Friends) is a non-profit fund, 501(c)3, established in 1995 by the Orange/Chatham County GAL Program. The mission of this fund is to provide abused and/or neglected children with needs and opportunities that Medicaid, WIC, and other public assistance funds and subsidies do not cover. GAL Friends has provided contact lenses, driver’s education courses, travel expenses for school trips, and many types of therapeutic intervention services for children in need. GAL Friends supplies children with items to enhance their standard of living and opportunities to enrich their lives.
