Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services is a multi-service organization providing a broad array of services to children, youth and families throughout Los Angeles County. Our services range from intensive residential care for youth who need mental health care to prevention-focused programs supporting the well-being of families and communities. Optimist is one of the largest residential treatment programs serving high-risk youth in California. Since its inception in 1906, Optimist Youth Homes has stayed true to its mission to provide culturally sensitive, comprehensive treatment, specialized education and support services to abused, neglected or at-risk children and youth and their families, to establish stability within families and communities.
