Description
Opportunity House is a multi-service organization that improves the quality of life for children, adults and families who face various obstacles and supports their efforts to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and well-being.
Programs include:
The Shelter (since 1984) - meeting immediate needs of the homeless.
Second Street Learning Center (since 1996) - for working parents of children from infancy - school-age years including those with special needs.
Supportive Housing (since 1998) - transitional & permanent for families.
Children's Alliance Center (CAC) (since 2004) - services for child victims of sexual abuse.
