OIC, Inc. was established in Rocky Mount, North Carolina in 1969, to help individuals empower themselves by obtaining critical life skills and education to prepare them for success in the marketplace. Today, OIC provides comprehensive employment, training, business, primary care and health services that strengthen opportunities for people in the community that we serve. We provide programs that specifically target vulnerable populations: GED Program; Stay in School Initiatives; Summer Internship Programs; Work Experience; HIV Counseling, Testing and Referral; and Primary Health Care for the uninsured and underinsured as well as many other programs. These programs primarily target residents of Nash and Edgecombe counties.
