Description
During several visits to Kenya over the years, I discovered that there is a dire need for school supplies, pens,pencils,notebooks. I decided to form Operation Kenya Kids,Inc. along with my husband. We are now a 501(c)(3) Federal Tax Exempt non-affiliated organization, and all donations are Federal Tax Deductible. Our mission is to assist needy school children in Kenya. We are now shipping donated eye glasses,donated soap,shampoo,and body lotion, and now homemade sanitary pads so that the young girls will not miss a week of school each month. We still ship pens,pencils,notebooks,shoes,first-aid,bug repellent,and mosquito nets, to the five schools that we assist through our Kenyan OKK Ambassadors. Carolyn Sullivan, Founder.
