Description
Operation HOPE is America's first non-profit social investment banking and financial literacy empowerment organization, operating with more than 400 private sector partners, 1500 non profit and school partners, and 100 government partners, in 30 US cities and two provinces in South Africa. We have raised more than $400 million for the poor and our mission, called "silver rights," is focused on making free enterprise and capitalism relevant to the poor. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton says of Operation HOPE in his recent book entitled GIVING, “Both young people and adults need basic knowledge about how our economy functions as well as the skills to make it work for them. Operation HOPE seeks to give those skills to people who otherwise would be left out and left behind.”
