Description

Open Adoption & Family Services (OA&FS) is a noprofit organization providing free options counseling to birthparents and facilitating open adoptions. We are the experts in open adoption in the Northwest, having completed more than 975 adoptions in over 20 years. In our process, birthparents choose an adoptive family, enter mediation with the family, and set up legally enforceable open adoption agreements for ongoing contact with the child. Open adoption is healthy for birthparents and adoptive parents, but most of all, it's healthy for children. OA&FS has offices in Portland, Oregon; Medford, Oregon; Eugene, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington.
