One Hen provides educational resources that bring world social issues into elementary school classrooms. Our first curriculum based on the story One Hen: How One Small Loan Made a Big Difference, introduces children to the principles of microfinance and entrepreneurship. The goal is to inspire children in grades K-6 in the U.S. and abroad to become global citizens who marry their own success to giving back, and teach them the value of financial responsibility, personal initiative, philanthropic giving, and global awareness.
