Description

The ONS Foundation, nationally headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and the “giving arm” of ONS - the largest professional association of more than 37,000 registered nurses and other oncology healthcare providers. Since its establishment in 1981, the ONS Foundation has provided more than $20 million to fund
cancer nursing research, scholarships, awards, and educational programs.

The underlying work of the ONS Foundation is to make sure that every man, woman, and child who is faced with a cancer diagnosis may do so with an oncology nurse who understands what that cancer diagnosis means and one with the experience and specialized knowledge and skills to care for and support each person with cancer as an individual.
