Description
Omni Center is a Northwest Arkansas group that works actively to promote a culture of peace, by seeking out people of every culture, race, and religion that share our longing for peace, and through social and economic justice, and a sustainable environment.
Omni volunteers organize educational events, sponsor speakers on many topics, honor the dead of all wars (especial nuclear) through a Hiroshima Nagasaki Commemoration, and confer awards for Arkansas Peace and Justice Heroes, young writers on Martin Luther King's peace legacy, and emerging adult writers on peace themes. Omni also networks locally, regionally and nationally with groups working in related areas.
