The Olympic Music Festival’s “Concerts in the Barn” has brought music to life for twenty-three years. Every summer, thousands of visitors gather in its unforgettable environment to enjoy world-class music by world-class artists.
The Festival's mission in the Pacific Northwest is to cultivate an appreciation of chamber music among people of all ages, races and backgrounds. Olympic Music Festival (OMF) breaks down the barriers between musicians and artist are bridged by the casual atmosphere that “Concerts in the Barn” thrives on. However, artistic excellence and intellectual approach are never compromised in Olympic Music Festival’s presentations of masterworks in chamber music repertoire.
OMF has been recognized continually for its contribution to the community. The readers of Seattle Weekly have consistently named OMF as “The Northwest’s Best Classical Music Festival,” while the editorial staff of the Seattle Times has voted it “Best of the Sound.”
